From: Rhabdoid tumor: gene expression clues to pathogenesis and potential therapeutic targets
Validation of expression of SMARCB1, FYN, PTN, NQO1, PTPRK, TFRC, and CCND1 using quantitative reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction. RNA from seven examples of each tumor type was analyzed in duplicate using the primers in Table 1. Expression changes are determined by subtracting the CT value of the housekeeping gene (β-actin or GAPDH) from the CT of the gene of interest (dCT). The average dCT from each individual tumor was subtracted from the average tumor RT dCT value for each gene (ddCT); these values were averaged for each tumor type and the error bars represent the standard deviation of the averages.
