Analysis of the purity of FliC preparations. Untreated (lanes 1 and 3) or trypsinized flagellin preparations (lanes 2 and 4) were subjected to SDS-PAGE (10% gels) and visualized by staining with Coomassie brilliant blue (lanes 1 and 2) or were electrotransferred and immunoblotted with a specific mAb (2B3H10a; lanes 3 and 4).
