Butyrate acid enhanced milk fat globule-epidermal growth factor 8 (MFG-E8) expression in cell lines. (a) NCI-H716 cells were treated with different concentrations of butyrate for 48 h. Using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR), the transcriptional levels of MFG-E8 were analyzed relative to that of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH).
