Quantitative PCR analyses of specific mRNA expression in the diaphragm and parietal peritoneum of methylglyoxal model mice. VEGF-C mRNA expression was not significantly increased in the diaphragm (a). VEGF-D (b), LYVE-1 (c), VEGFR-3 (d), and CD31 (e) mRNA expression were increased in the diaphragm in the methylglyoxal model mice compared with normal controls. (each group, n=6).
