t-PA promotes efficient resolution of acute hepatic injury in mice. C57Bl/6 (WT) and t-PA null mice (t-PA KO) analyzed at days 1–7 and 14 post-CCL4 injury as described in MATERIALS AND METHODS. (a) Serum ALT values in WT and t-PA KO mice. No values were significantly different at time points indicated. (b) Quantification of α-SMA staining (× 20 images, minimum 10/animal).
