MaR1 increased ENaC and Na,K-ATPase protein abundance in the plasma membrane in primary ATII cells stimulated with LPS. Rat primary ATII cells were treated with MaR1 (100 nM) in the presence or absence of LPS (1 μg/ml) for 6 h. The effect of MaR1 on the subcellular distribution of the ENaC-α (a) and Na,K-ATPase-α (b) were examined by confocal laser-scanning microscopy using a specific Ab against (original magnification × 400). Alexa Fluor second Ab was used to stain the cells.
