Evaluation of secretions released from mast cells by EIA. Isolated mast cells were incubated with T-stim to induce degranulation prior to the evaluation of histamine and VEGF-A. (a) Histamine release is increased in isolated mast cells stimulated with T-stim compared with un-stimulated cells, whereas (b) VEGF-A levels are unchanged.
