The image in (d) shows a liver free of blasts in a GSI-treated animal. (a), (c) and (d) are hematoxylin and eosin (H&E)-stained sections; the bone marrow sample in (b) shows immunohistochemical staining for human CD10, to distinguish blast cells from any potential leukocyte progenitors in this immunocompromised mouse.
