The assumed conditions are a temperature of 30 K and a magnetic field of 5 T. The black and white dashed lines denote the calculated TE and TM resonance modes. The largest Faraday rotation occurs at the point where TM and TE modes overlap. The red dashed line indicates the Rayleigh anomaly, which is dependent on the grating period. TE, transverse electric; TM, transverse magnetic.
