Interleukin (IL)-33 activates dendritic cells (DCs) in vitro. (a) The expression of cytokines and chemokines was evaluated by quantitative real-time PCR in DCs from BALB/c mice exposed to IL-33 (1 ng ml−1) for 4 h without or with 1 h previous incubation of ST2 antibody (Ab) or soluble ST2 protein. (b) Flow cytometry showed the enhanced expression of CD40, CD80, and OX40L of DCs exposed to IL-33 for 24 h.
