The clinical courses of four patients are illustrated here. Vβ flow cytometry showed persistent diseases even when the total CD3+ T cells fell in the normal range in patients 1, 2, and 3; and the tumor cells were eradicated only after total body radiation beam and bone marrow transplant treatment (patient 4).
