Skin metastasis from small-cell lung carcinoma: (a) weak Notch-1 expression is seen only in a minority of tumor cells (original magnification × 10); (b) Notch-1 is strongly expressed in endothelial cells in the context of mostly unstained tumor cells (original magnification × 20); (c) β-catenin shows strong and diffuse membranous staining (original magnification × 20); (d) E-cadherin membranous staining in the majority of tumor cells (original magnification × 20).
