All primary extragonadal seminomas/germinomas (a1, b1) showed positive LIN28 staining with strong staining in the vast majority of cases (55/57) (a2) and only two (2/57) showed weak LIN28 staining (b2). All primary extragonadal embryonal carcinomas (c1) showed strong LIN28 staining (c2).
