β-Catenin nuclear expression is associated with poor survival. Kaplan–Meier curves for disease-free survival (a), metastasis-free survival (b) and overall survival (c) for 221 patients uniformly treated with anthracycline-based chemotherapy. Invasive breast carcinomas with β-catenin nuclear expression as defined by the 14/β-catenin clone (dark grey) are significantly associated with shorter metastasis-free survival and overall survival (P<0.05). A similar but non-significant trend was also observed with disease-free survival.
