(a) Under low power, the type II enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma shows mucosal ulceration and diffuse lymphomatous infiltration through the intestinal wall. (b) Staining for CD3 shows an obvious increase in intestinal intraepithelial lymphocytes in the intestinal mucosa adjacent to the tumor. (c) Tumor cells of type II enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma are monomorphic and medium sized at medium power. (d) CD8 and (e) CD56 show diffuse positivity. (f) No EBER-positive cells were observed in this case.
