Endocervical adenocarcinoma in situ: low magnification of endocervical adenocarcinoma in situ involving a single gland. The gland in the lower right shows a hyperchromatic epithelium in stark contrast to the normal endocervical epithelium lining the non-involved glands and surface. This hyperchromatic area is often the first identifiable feature.
