Magnetic resonance imaging of silent subtype 3 adenomas. Patients presented with macroadenomas with various degrees of parasellar extension. A macroadenoma exhibits both suprasellar and infrasellar growth and left cavernous sinus invasion (arrow) (a). A macroadenoma with marked downward growth fills the sphenoid sinus (arrow) and erodes the clivus (b).
