Concurrent ARID1A and ARID1B co-inactivation in a subset of dedifferentiated endometrial and ovarian carcinomas. Sequencing findings are summarized here and the heatmap depicts only inactivating mutations (frameshift and nonsense mutations) with dark grey colour indicating the presence of one inactivating mutation and black colour indicating the presence of two inactivating mutations. Mutations with >70% frequency in sequenced reads (which are likely homozygous in nature) are further indicated by an asterisk. Cases in bold (15, 30 and 31) are ovarian tumours. Protein expression results are displayed with the endometrioid and the undifferentiated component shown separately; the presence of nuclear protein expression is indicated by (+) with the absence of nuclear protein expression indicated by (-).
