Task-modulated cells in the SMT and grid cells during random foraging were found on all of these tetrodes. b, Representative parasagittal section of the hippocampus, showing two tetrodes in the CA1 pyramidal cell layer. Task-modulated cells during the passive playback + reward task were found on both of these tetrodes.
