(a) TGA curves, (b) X-ray diffraction patterns and (c) Raman spectra reveal that the sulfur content in the 3D S@PGC composites can be readily tuned by changing the Na2S/glucose ratio and that the sulfur nanoparticles in the composites have the same crystalline structures.
