(a) In total, 1.0 × 106 WT spleen cells (control) or 2D2-IEL-THIGH cells (2D2-IEL-THIGH) were transferred to WT recipients (n=5 per group) one day before EAE induction (day 0). Anti-LAG-3 mAb or isotype-matched immunoglobulin was administrated. Clinical scores of EAE were evaluated (mean and s.e.m). *P<0.05, **P<0.01 by two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) with Bonferroni’s post-test. (b) Mononuclear cells infiltrating the CNS of recipient mice were recovered on day 33, and cell numbers were counted. Individual plots represent cell numbers from each animal (mean and s.e.m.). *P<0.05 or NS (not significant) by one-way ANOVA with Bonferroni’s post-test. Data are representative of two experiments.
