Ferrichrome reduced cellular progression in a dose-dependent manner in Caco2/bbe (a) and SW620 cells (b). Ferrichrome did not affect the cell growth of IEC-18 cells (c) or the primary cultures of intestinal cells (d). 5-FU and cisplatin reduced the cell growth in SW620 (e) and IEC-18 cells (f). *P<0.05 by Student’s t-test.
