Blocking the output of PAM-β′1 neurons during sugar conditioning did not impair the sugar-reward LTM; whereas, blocking the outputs of PAM-α1, -β2, -β1, β′2 and -γ5 neurons during sugar conditioning disrupted the sugar-reward LTM.
