  2. Values are mean±s.d. and compared by unpaired t-test. Lower 25th percentile cutoff value for lipid age was 1.83 years in subcutaneous adipose tissue and 1.45 years in visceral adipose tissue. Corresponding values for upper 25th percentile were 3.49 and 3.17 years, respectively.
