IL-2/Jes6-1 complexes can expand ILC2 in the bone marrow and spleen of Apoe−//Rag2−/ mice (a) as well as inducing clusters of ICOS+ KLRG1+ cells (b, ICOS Green, KLRG1 Red, scale bar 25 μm) adjacent to the aortic sinus. IL-2/Jes6-1 treatment significantly decreases plaque area in the aortic sinus compared to vehicle alone (c, scale bar 270 μm). Graph data points represent individual mice and statistical significance was determined by Mann–Whitney U-test.
