(a) Confocal fluorescent microscopic images of tumour cells (HeLa) and macrophages (Raw264.7 and J774A.1) after FL-mediated delivery of fluorophore-lipids (magenta). Cells were treated with fluorophore-FLs for 1 h and then imaged. Plasma membranes and lysosomes were stained with CellMask and LysoTracker (green), respectively.
