The four domains are designated DI, DII, DIII and DIV. The III–IV linker is shown in green. The amino and carboxy termini are designated by NH2 and COOH, respectively. The C-T is expanded by six α helices (H1–H6). The approximate location of the 1,943 stop used in the constructs in this study is indicated on the expanded C-T, as well as the approximate location of the S1904L mutation.
