Figure 3: Structure determinations of resilin samples.
Selected RT-FTIR spectra in the amide I, II and III regions were analysed for full-length resilin (a,d), exon I (b,e) and exon III (c,f) during heating at 2 K min−1. Transitions were indicated as TMDSC studies for step 2 from 150 °C (red trace) to 240 °C (blue trace). The scale bar is 0.1 for a, b and c, and 0.02 for d, e and f. Temperature development of structure was also performed using SAXS, Log(I) versus log(q) data are shown for full-length resilin (g), exon I (h) and exon III (i) samples.
