From: In situ measurement of exciton energy in hybrid singlet-fission solar cells
Schematic of the devices used in this study and chemical structure of pentacene. Pentacene was evaporated on ITO-coated glass substrates. PbSe nanocrystals were spin-coated on top of pentacene, followed by thermal evaporation of aluminium. A lithium fluoride layer was present between the aluminium and the nanocrystals in the devices optimized for power conversion efficiency.
