Note the biphasic and prolonged p wave indicating atrial hypertrophy. (b) Heart rate analysis of transgenic (TN-XXL) and wild-type controls (WT). Minimum (min), mean and maximum (max) heart rates were calculated from the 24 h ECG. Iso=maximum heart rate after i.p. injection of isoprenaline (0.1 mg kg−1 body weight).
