Visible green fluorescent nanotrain particles are observed only when the SWNT and liposome are mixed in a specific compounding ratio (entry 1 in Table 1). Graphics depict the expected nanotrain conformations (Fig. 2h–n). These results clearly indicate that the optimum compounding ratio of the avidin–PEG2,000–PL–SWNT and functional liposome is 1:4,000 for further experiments (entry 1 in Table 1).
