Data from one control and two mice treated with ChABC are shown. (b) The amplitude of the VEP has been normalized to the amplitude measured before Chem-LTP induction. Time 0 corresponds to the end of the spontaneous bursts. In the control mice, the amplitude of the VEP returned to baseline, whereas a robust potentiation was observed in mice treated with ChABC for 3 days. Data represents mean and s.e. computed by pooling data from four control and four treated mice. **One-way t-test null hypothesis mean>1, P<0.01. *One-way t-test null hypothesis mean>1, P<0.02. When all time point are compared the VEP amplitude is significantly larger in treated mice compared with controls (P<0.002 paired t-test).
