Solid and dashed lines, respectively, indicate measurement on heating and cooling, and colour shading represents the maximum temperature achieved during each heating cycle. (b,d) First-derivative curves, using three-point moving average. Note that horizontal axis scaling is different than in a and c. MSH008-D contains only homogeneous titanomagnetite with TC<450 °C. NV17-A contains two populations of Fe-Ti oxides: oxyexsolved grains with ilmenite lamellae in magnetite (TC~580 °C); and homogeneous titanomagnetites (TC<500 °C) for which the Curie temperature changes during the experiment.
