Variation of β+2r41E as a function of the applied electric field E in the device. The red triangle schematically represents the slope of this function used to extract the Rashba coefficient r41. The intercept of β+2r41E with the ordinate axis gives β (β=4γ‹K z2›/), where γ is the Dresselhaus coefficient. The x axis error bars have been calculated from the uncertainties on the measured stark shift.
