Group data show the interaction between carotid sinus nerve denervation (CSD; n=6) and renal nerve denervation (RD; n=7) in SH rats. There was an additive effect of CSD and RD, irrespective of the order in which the intervention was made. The combined intervention produced a greater fall in SBP than each RD or CSD alone.
