Human hepatocarcinoma tissues and peripheral liver tissues (n=10 each) were used for DNA isolation. Methylation of CpG in the promoter region of 11β-HSD1 (a,b) or 11β-HSD2 (c,d) was determined. *P<0.05 (analysis of variance).
