MAPK activation was detected with an α-pERK antibody and Coomassie Brilliant Blue staining of Rubisco (RBC) protein is shown for equal loading control. (b) flg22-induced BIK1 phosphorylation in protoplasts at different temperatures. The band intensities of pMPK3, pMPK6, BIK1 and pBIK1 were quantified using the Image J software and presented with mean±s.e.m. (n=3) from three independent biological replicates. * indicates a significant difference with P<0.05 analysed with the SPSS software one-way ANOVA analysis when compared with corresponding data from 16 °C. The above experiments were repeated three times with similar results.
