(b) Experimental set-up of the focused plasmonic trapping system. The incident wavelength is λ0=1,064 nm, the thickness of the thin gold film is 45 nm, the refractive index of the glass substrate is 1.515, the diameter of the gold particles is 1±0.1 μm. The theoretical full width at half maximum of the SPP virtual probe is 261 nm (~0.245λ0).
