(a) ARPP19 is present in fractions from prophase (Pro) and MII-arrested (MII) oocytes extracted by trichloroacetic acid precipitation and heat treatment. ARPP19 was immunoblotted using a specific ARPP19 antibody. (b) High amounts of injected WT-GST-ARPP inhibit meiotic maturation. Prophase-arrested oocytes (Pro) were injected with indicated concentrations of WT-GST-ARPP (WT, blue lines). After Pg stimulation, GVBD time course was followed. See also Supplementary Table 1.
