From: Horizontal gene transfer of a vertebrate vasodilatory hormone into ticks

The phylogenetic tree was constructed using the maximum parsimony method based on amino acid sequences translated from the second exon of the TAM molecules and corresponding exons from various vertebrate ADMs, that is, ADM from cyclostomes and ADM-1 and -5 from chondrichthyans and tetrapods. In the resulting tree, the bootstrap values >50% are shown at each node.
