Serum-starved primary Tiam1−/− MEF transfected with HA-Tiam1 or myc-Tiam1 L1L2 were treated with exogenous PtdIns5P (15 μM) for 30 min. Cells were then fixed and the actin cytoskeleton was visualized by staining with AlexaFluor 488-phalloidin and Tiam1 with HA or myc antibodies. Scale bar, 10 μm. The lower panels represent higher magnifications for indicated areas shown as boxes in the merged image, as well as their respective linescans (3-pixels wide).
