(c) The reporter constructs, GFP expression in whole embryos and immunocytochemistry of GFP protein in gonad sections at 5 d.p.f. BAC240GFP drove GFP expression in the somatic cells (arrowheads) surrounding germ cells (arrows), as well as in the neural tube and neuromasts (n=6), but the gonadal expression was not observed in Od38_01GFP transgenic lines (n=4).
