From: A reversible conversion between a skyrmion and a domain-wall pair in a junction geometry

A sequence of information (that is, data bits) is encoded as a train of DWs and then converted into a train of skyrmions, which are transmitted in the skyrmion channel. We read out the information by converting the skyrmions back to DWs. The length of the nanowire is 1,600 nm, which is divided into three equal parts, that is, the DW source, the skyrmion channel and the DW drain.
