(a) Mouse zygotes were fixed in the oviduct, embedded in paraffin and sectioned (4 μm). The sections were stained with rabbit anti-TLE6 and imaged with confocal microscopy. Scale bar, 20 μm. (b) Same as a, but with rabbit anti-FLOPED antibodies. (c) Same as a, but with rabbit anti-MATER antibodies. (d) The location and proximity of FLOPED and TLE6 in eggs and zygotes from normal females were determined with a proximity ligation assay (PLA) using rabbit anti-FLOPED and anti-TLE6 antibodies. After staining, the eggs/embryos were imaged by confocal and differential interference contrast (DIC) microscopy. Scale bar, 20 μm.
