The black line is the CPD profile for short-circuit conditions (shorted) in dark. On illumination (red line profile), no significant increase in CPD was measured in the perovskite capping layer (marked in orange on top of the graph). The CPD distribution for open-circuit conditions showed that the examined area was functional, that is, positive charging of the Au cathode (green line) and negative charging of the FTO anode (blue line) as expected from the device J-V curves.
