(a) Eμ-Myc tumour cells were co-cultured with Wt BM myeloid DCs or C/EBPβ−/− DCs (B6). Lymphoma cell survival was determined as in Supplementary Fig. 5a,b (n=5 individual Eμ-Myc cell clones tested). Data are presented as fold change in lymphoma cell survival in the presence of DCs versus absence of DCs. Bars represent means±s.e.m.; a Student’s t-test was used. *P<0.05; **P<0.01. (b) C/EBPβ−/− mice and Wt or heterozygous littermates as controls were challenged with 1 × 104 Eμ-Myc GFP cells i.v. Tumour load in spleens of C/EBPβ−/− (n=5) compared with controls (n=6) was assessed with flow cytometry on day 7 (n=2 independent experiments).
