Measured crystallinities, determined by XRD analysis, plotted against the samples’ known crystallinities. Known crystallinities are determined from mixing proportions of gabbro and glass. Both the ‘synthetic’ gabbro powder series and the ‘natural’ gabbro powder series yield best-fit curves, blue and purple lines respectively, that nearly align, and are both close to the 1:1 line (dashed grey line).
