The time unit is TDirac≈4π/(3λ). (b) The difference between the momentum distributions of the two spin components n(k)−n(k) in the excited band at time TDirac. In our simulation, we choose ΔD=3t and λ=0.2t. The spread of the momentum distribution difference over a finite momentum range is due to the harmonic trap.
