(a) HEK293 cells were co-transfected with acGFP1-tagged LRRK2 variants (green) and either empty vector (Ctrl) or αTAT1 as indicated (3 × excess of empty vector or αTAT1 was used to ensure co-transfection). Twenty-four hours after transfection, the cells were fixed and processed for immunostaining using anti-acetylated α-tubulin antibody (red). Scale bar, 10 μm; zoom, 5 μm.
