(a) [13C,15N2]-Urea uptake was completely abolished in the AoΔutp79 mutant. Disruption of utp215 only partially impaired [13C,15N2]-urea uptake in A. oligospora. (b) Deletion of utp79 eliminated the urea-induced trap formation in A. oligospora. In contrast, deletion of utp215 partially inhibited urea-mediated trap formation.
